MCD students visit the Boston office of Sasaki during our 2024 spring break trip to study medical districts. We took various tours of design firm offices – Dennis Pieprz shared Sasaki’s ongoing medical district work with students.

Our first MCD cohort visit the Riverwalk and Loop on a walking tour with faculty to experience the city of Chicago as an urban laboratory.

During the summer Chicago Charrette, we had guest speaker Caroline O’Boyle from Trust for Public Land sharing their work on the 606 Trail, Great Migration Trail and host of projects and community engagement strategies.
