Two years after UIC’s new College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs (CUPPA) was formally established in 1995, a small group of alumni came together to form the College’s own Alumni Association to strengthen and enhance the professional and academic experience for alumni, students and faculty.
The CUPPA Alumni Association was officially recognized as a constituent group of the University of Illinois Alumni Association in June 1997. Alumni elected the first official board of directors for the Association in May of 1998.
