Eric Langowski is a staff data scientist for the Cook County Board of Review. He has previously worked for the City of Chicago, the State of Illinois, the Cook County Assessor's Office, and the University of Chicago Center for Municipal Finance. His research has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Bloomberg News, and other publications (https://erhla.github.io/portfolio.html) and he also supports a civic tech tool to automatically file property tax appeals for low-income homeowners. Eric has taught as an adjunct lecturer for Master of Science in Civic Analytics Program since 2022.
