Mr. Farr is president of Farr Associates and is the author of Sustainable Urbanism: Urban Design with Nature (2007) and Sustainable Nation: Urban Design Patterns for the Future (2018). In 2017, Planetizen readers named him one of "the 100 most influential urbanists of all time." Mr. Farr is an architecture graduate of the University of Michigan and Columbia University.
