About
Paola Caicedo is the Associate Dean for Administration, Finance, and Research Operations in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs (CUPPA) at the University of Illinois Chicago. She has been part of the UIC community since December 2004 and joined CUPPA in April 2017. Paola holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master of Science in Accounting. She is also a certified Business Administrator.
In her role as Associate Dean, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the college's financial stability and provides valuable guidance to the Dean, Department Heads, and Center Directors. She oversees all financial, business, and budgetary operations at the college level, as well as all aspects of the Shared Administrative Services.
