About
Paola Caicedo is the Assistant Dean for Finance, Administration and Research Operations in the College of Urban Planning and Public affairs (CUPPA) at the University of Illinois Chicago. Paola has been part of the UIC community since December 2004. She joined CUPPA in April 2017.
As the Assistant Dean for Finance, Administration and Research Operations she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial functioning of the college and providing valuable advice to the Dean, Department Heads and Center Directors. She is responsible for all financial, business and budgetary matters at the College level as well as all aspects of the Shared Research Administration Services. Her understanding of finance, accounting, research administration, and university business policies and procedures allows her to assess the overall financial health of the College.
