UPP Students Win Two GIS Research Awards

UPP students won two awards for their GIS research posters at two separate conferences last week! Graduate students Bailey Foster and Grace Li won the award for best student poster at the Illinois GIS Association (ILGISA) conference for their poster that mapped vulnerability to lead service lines in the City of Chicago. Undergraduate students Sean O'Rourke, Rebecca Perelman, and Wylie Crowther won 3rd place in the undergraduate student poster competition at the Association of American Geographers (AAG) West Lakes Division for their poster on the equitable expansion of Chicago's Divvy bike-share system.
