Teresa Cordova Appointed To Committee On Jobs And Economic Opportunity

Teresa CórdovaDirector of the Great Cities Institute and Professor of Urban Planning and Policy, was appointed to the IL Governor-Elect’s transition committee on Jobs and Economic Opportunity.  Governor-elect JB Pritzker and Lieutenant Governor-elect Juliana Stratton announced the formation and members of the transition’s Job Creation and Economic Opportunity Committee on Monday, December 3.  The work of the committee will focus on developing statewide opportunities for growth through innovation, small business, and work force development across Illinois including downstate and urban communities. The committee is comprised of 37 members and is chaired by lllinois Medical District CEO and Executive Director Dr. Suzet McKinney, Director of Research Park at the University of Illinois Laura Frerichs, Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council President Omar Duque, and Chicago Federation of Labor President Bob Reiter.  Read more about the committee and its members here.
