Postdoc interviewed on lottery sales study

South Side Weekly interviewed Kasey Henricks, a postdoctoral associate in the Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy, on his study examining the sources of Illinois lottery sales and distribution of school funding. Henricks found that communities with high lottery sales, such as the South and West Sides, often also have school districts that remain severely underfunded.
