Great Cities Institute Study on Black Unemployment in Chicago Featured in Crain’s Chicago Business

A study recently published by the Great Cities Institute on racial disparities in post-pandemic unemployment rates was featured in a Crain's Chicago Business article. The story highlighted persistent statewide racial disparities in unemployment even as the nationwide unemployment rate for Black Americans has fallen to a record low and the employment gap with white workers is the smallest it has ever been.
