Download iCal FileCUPPA is excited to host an affordable housing career panel. Students will learn firsthand about all the different positions there are and all the hard work that is being done to better our communities from alumni and professionals in the affordable housing field.
Panelists include:

Karly Brinla – Vice President Development Manager at Brinshore Development, LLC, a for-profit developer of affordable housing.

Andrea Keeney– Vice President of Development with the Michaels Organization, a for-profit developer of affordable housing.

Mackenzie Drosd – Director of Programs at Illinois Housing Council, a non-profit advocacy group focused on advancing the creating and preservation of affordable housing.

Cat Vielma– Director of Acquisitions at Red Stone Equity Partners, an investment firm focused on affordable housing (via the low-income housing tax credit)

Keisha Farmer Smith- Assistant Professor, Urban Planning Department, UIC

Omari Bektemba- Development Project Manager, Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation, a non-profit developer who manages their own properties.
