Sara Egan

About
Based in our Chicago office, Sara graduated from the University of Illinois and earned a Master of Urban Planning degree and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. Naturally empathetic and analytical, Sara is a process strategist focused on curating innovative methods for stakeholder engagement to continuously improve the workshop experience and translate this input in a way that best informs the work we do. The value she brings is in her ability to build strong interdisciplinary teams to address complex challenges and guide projects from concept to reality. The rigor she applies to her projects has resulted in several awards at the state and national level; most notably her work on the Strategic Master Plan for the Petra Region which was recognized by American Planning Association with the Pierre L’Enfant International Planning Award. As a registered landscape architect, a national certified planner and a LEED® Accredited Professional, Sara is currently implementing the first Great Streets project in the State of Illinois.
