Voorhees Center Receives $2.4 million Department of Defense Grant
The Dispatch-Argus, the daily newspaper covering the Quad Cities, reports on a $2.4 million Department of Defense grant to UIC’s Nathalie P. Voorhees Center for Neighborhood and Community Improvement for a project aimed at assisting economic research in Illinois’ military-dependent communities. As part of the project, the Voorhees Center will oversee development and use of an online tool for regional partners and economic development organizations in the Quad Cities, Rockford, Peoria and Chicago. http://bit.ly/2Ri5xAT
