UIC associate professors of urban planning and policy Kate Lowe, Stacey Sutton and Nebiyou Tilahun co-authored a Chicago Sun-Times op-ed calling for a more equitable and effective approach to Chicago traffic safety in advance of the City Council’s vote tomorrow on an ordinance to raise the threshold for ticketing motorists caught speeding by automated enforcement cameras.
