UPP Professors Phil Ashton & Rachel Weber Publish New Article on Urban Crowdfunding
UPP professors Phil Ashton and Rachel Weber published a new article on urban crowdfunding schemes entitled, “Crowd control: The regulatory logics of urban crowdfunding.” They assess whether and how forms of internet-based financial intermediation are disrupting established public and private methods of raising capital for urban development. The article is part of a themed issue of the journal City on “Crowds, communities, (post)capitalism, and the sharing economy.” Read it here.
