In an segment heard on NPR’s “All Things Considered,” Kate Lowe, UIC assistant professor of urban planning and policy, was interviewed about Elon Musk’s proposed high-speed rail line connecting O’Hare Airport to the Loop.

Chicago magazine also interviewed Kate Lowe in an online article about Chicago tapping Elon Musk to build a high-speed rail line connecting O’Hare Airport to the Loop. Lowe shares her concerns that public funds will eventually be applied to the project and that public officials’ attention should be on “projects that would yield economic benefits equitably.” http://bit.ly/2LV7YHc
