Rachel Weber Interviewed By City Road Podcast
Rachel Weber, Director of Graduate Studies and Professor of UPP, was recently interviewed in a City Road Podcast during which she discusses her new book From Boom to Bubble about Chicago's "Milennial Boom". Weber debunks the idea that real estate booms only occur when cities are growing. Rather, Weber argues that cities experiencing employment and population decline can also have real estate booms; developers rush to erect new office towers and apartment buildings when they have financial incentives to do so.
