Public Policy Senior’s Policy Proposal Published in 10 Ideas Journal
Public Policy Senior Ivan Cazarin’s policy proposal, "Chicago’s $1 Large Lots Program: Localizing Economic Redevelopment,” was published in 10 Ideas Journal by the Roosevelt Institute. Cazarin proposes “to reduce the number of vacant lots and promote localized economic redevelopment in Chicago" by reforming its Large Lots Program to allow renter participation and mandate that applicants’ primary residence be within the given community.
