PPMA Professor Kate Albrecht wins E-PARCC Contest

Public Policy, Management, and Analytics Professor Kate Albrecht has won the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University's E-PARCC contest, an annual teaching case and simulation competition. Professor Albrecht's winning entry is titled "Water for you and me, or water for us? Regional collaboration in drinking water systems." Co-written with Jason Michnik, their simulation offers a fictionalized case of drinking water provisioning in northeastern Illinois. Designed for undergraduate and graduate students and professionals, the simulation offers an experiential exercise in collaborative governance, public service management, and municipal decision-making.

More information on the E-PARCC contest and Professor Albrecht's winning entry, including a free download of the full text, can be found on the Maxwell School's website.
