PA Prof Kleinschmit’s Work on Data Science Curriculum Recognized by NASPAA
NASPAA, the global standard in public service education network of public policy, affairs, and administration, announced winners of their competition seeking white papers on a Data Science Curriculum for Public Services. PA Clinical Associate Professor and Director, Master of Science in Civic Analytics, Stephen Kleinschmit was one of two selected to address the question, "What are the elements of successful curricula or pedagogical models that develop capacity to solve public policy problems and leave explicit space for local experimentation and modification?" Kleinschmit's paper, "An Inclusive Framework for Data Science Competencies in NASPAA MPA and MPP Programs," will be disclussed at a NASPAA session in October. More info here.
