New Report From the Voorhees Center Highlights the Firms Leading Chicago’s Green Economy

Green Economy Firms in the Chicago Region groups together clusters of related industries and examines those clusters to better understand the Green Economy in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. The report compiles a list of firms in the Green Economy and documents their sales volume and associated employment, complemented by an interactive map of the locations of these firms throughout the region. Among the findings highlighted in the report is that the Green Economy in Chicagoland is dominated by the Local Real Estate, Construction, and Development cluster with over 37,415 firms. A blog post on the report is available on the Voorhees Center's website.
