MUPP Alum to Run Chicago Planning Department
Ciere Boatright talked with urban studies and public policy students, Aaliayah Romer, Lashundria Dewberry, and Jada Porter in Urban Planning and Policy Associate Professor Brenda Parker’s 2020 Social Justice and the City class about inclusive economic development that meets the needs and priorities of community members.
Urban Planning and Policy 2016 graduate, Ciere Boatright, has been appointed commissioner for Chicago's Department of Planning and Development by Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. Her appointment will begin on Nov. 20.
