A Chicago Tribune article on the State of Illinois’ efforts to conduct outreach in advance of the 2020 U.S. census and the involvement of “regional intermediaries” in the process notes the role of UIC, where researchers will provide technical assistance around data analysis to support the various groups. Co-principal investigator for the UIC group is Kathleen Yang-Clayton, clinical assistant professor of public administration, who notes she would prefer to have started the process two years in earlier, but is focused on what she can do to ensure an even better count for the 2030 census.  http://bit.ly/38MXwwQ (subscription required)
