Kate Lowe was one of 110 experts that came up with recommendations for helping deal with the damage of segregation in Chicago. She discusses the link between transportation and social equity and the importance of extending the Red Line. Metropolitan Planning Council released 24 recommendations that would help dismantle institutional barriers to racial equity.
