Recent articles from the Chicago Sun-Times and Chalkbeat (and also published by Block Club Chicago) note that during the stay-at-home order laptops and other loaned tech devices from the Chicago Public Schools will go first to students at schools in neighborhoods that score highest on a “hardship index” developed by UIC’s Great Cities Institute.
