EDA Center Based at Voorhees Highlighted on Chicago Public Radio
U.S. Economic Development Administration Grant
A Chicago Public Radio news report highlighted the work of the EDA University Center at UIC and its May 1 community summit on the Chicago region’s green economy.
(The center, which is based in UIC’s Natalie P. Voorhees Center for Neighborhood and Community Improvement, was established in 2016 through a U.S. Economic Development Administration grant to help UIC promote Chicagoland green economic development, particularly in the Calumet Corridor.)
