CUPPA Ph.D. Candidate Anton Rozhkov Receives an Honorable Mention for the GSETMA Award
CUPPA congratulates Urban Planning and Policy Ph.D. candidate Anton Rozhkov for receiving an honorable mention for the Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching & Mentoring Award (GSETMA). Anton teaches introductory and advanced-level classes on geographic information systems (GIS), which are digital mapping techniques that are essential to planning. Anton's research interests focus on how energy policies and new technologies can affect infrastructure planning and the design of our cities.
The GSETMA celebrates the excellence of UIC's graduate students in their teaching and mentoring of undergraduates. This year's award went to Joshua Lovett of the Community & Applied Development Psychology Program.
