Download iCal FileJoin peers from the School of Design and the College of Urban Planning (CUPPA) and UDVL for a workshop to improve cycling on campus. Work with data and insights from Bike Lane Uprising (BLU) and UIC’s Planning, Sustainability, and Project Management (PSPM).
What to Expect: Participants will be split into interdisciplinary teams to work with data from BLU and PSPM to highlight cycling issues like obstructed bike lanes and bicycle theft.
Final Deliverable: Teams will have 4 hours to produce a PDF presentation highlighting an identified cycling issue and suggest solutions. This PDF will be verbally presented, recorded, and submitted to BLU and PSPM with the potential to bring about real change to our campus.
