Roosevelt Institute is hosting a Film Screening on Mon. April 2 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. in the Lecture Room in Gallery 400. Starving the Beast is a film which examines the on-going power struggle on college campuses across the nation as political and market-oriented forces push to disrupt and reform America’s public universities. A panel discussing the alarming trend of privatization of higher education will follow the movie. The panel will include a CUPPA professor, a student running for the Board of Trustees, and a representative from Hedge Clippers, and others to be announced. Pizza is served. RSVP here.
