Insight into how the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) approves funding for public transit projects will be addressed at a presentation, “The Life of a Capital Public Transit Project from the RTA’s Perspective,” on February 15. David Spacek and Tara O’Malley of the RTA also will share the RTA’s oversight role in project and grant management and the steps taken to advance projects from application through completion. The presentation is part of the Urban Transportation Center's Spring 2018 Seminar Series. It will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Great Cities Institute Conference Room, 4th Floor, CUPPA Hall, 412 S. Peoria St., Chicago.
