See Where the Campus Meets the City. CUPPA Open House.
September 16, 2017
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Open House 2017 is your all-access pass to UIC, Chicago's public research university. Whether you are a prospective student, a nostalgic alum or a friendly neighbor, we can't wait to show you what UIC is all about.
UIC's Open House begins at 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the QUAD immediately west of Student Center East, 750 S. Halsted St., Chicago. During the Open House you can choose from over 100 options, including faculty talks on current topics, lab and studio demonstrations, family friendly activities in the quad, admissions and financial aid presentations geared to help you get ready for an exciting college experience, and much more. (Register at http://openhouse.uic.edu/#registration.)
And that "much more" includes a visit to CUPPA Hall, home of UIC's College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs! You will meet a few of our faculty, staff, and students, get a glimpse of our $10 million renovation over the past three years, see a few classrooms, and hear more about our undergraduate majors and minors, and our graduate programs.
CUPPA Hall is located right across the Eisenhower expressway bridge on Peoria Street. Situated on the “city” side of campus, right next to the Blue Line, CUPPA is a unique college comprised of two academic departments and nine research centers, all with the mission of promoting just, resilient, and livable communities. Come see our space, and meet the people that make CUPPA human. We are redefining the campus visit. We look forward to seeing you, family and friends at UIC Open House on September 16.
