The UIC Provost’s first Campus Conversation of this academic year is scheduled for Tues., Sept. 26 from 12 noon- 1:30p.m., Cardinal Room in SCE. Dr. Nancy MacLean will provide a lecture and discussion on The Origins of the Radical Right and the Crisis of Our Democracy, based on her new book, “Democracy in Chains: The Deep History of the Radical Right’s Stealth Plan for America.” The UIC Library has acquired online access to Democracy in Chains. You may access it here. This event will be streamed live on UIC’s YouTube channel.
