Are you passionate about participating in and fixing our democracy? Are you the one who usually drags your friends to rallies, political campaigns and extra workshops about the urgent issues that face our city and nation today? Are you ready to train and prepare yourself for engaging in real, fundamental policy reforms that can turn that passion into a career path and long-lasting impact?
Then you should come to our Open Houses on either March 2nd or March 8th. You'll meet passionate students, staff and faculty who can answer your questions and share their experiences in the BA in Public Policy program. As a special incentive, the first 5 registrants who are interested in our March 8th date can also sit in on a real live class from 2-3:15 taught by Kathleen Yang-Clayton, a faculty member who recently joined our department with years of experience in the nonprofit and legislative world in Illinois.
Bring your family and support networks - it takes a community to support your educational and civic excellence and we welcome you all!
RSVP soon, seats are limited.
Feel free to email Elizabeth Motyka at eallen6@uic.edu with any questions.
