About
Susan Altfeld, PhD, serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. She oversees all aspects of the Office of Academic Affairs including academic programs, curriculum development, academic grievances, student academic progress and distance learning. Her interests include non-academic factors involved in student success and development of the MPH integrated core curriculum.
Dr. Altfeld's research has involved social support over the life span, transitional care for older adults and infant safe sleep. Her teaching has focused on determinants of health and health promotion.
