Voorhees Center Issues Reports for City of Chicago and NASA
Introduction
The Nathalie P. Voorhees Center assisted with two new reports released in November:
City of Chicago 2024 Point-in-Time Count & Survey Report of People Experiencing Homelessness; The 2024 Count estimated over three times as many people experiencing homelessness than the 2023 count and estimated that a total of 18,836 people experienced homelessness in Chicago on a given day in 2024.
NASA's Economic Impact Analysis, which highlighted how the Moon to Mars activities, climate change research and technology development, and other projects generated more than $75.6 billion in economic output across the nation in fiscal year 2023.
