UPP Professor Rachel Weber Investigates School Closures
Professor Rachel Weber examines the factors behind Chicago Public School closures in a new article in the Urban Affairs Review. Weber found that while poor academic performance and faculty under-utilization were factors, schools with a higher amount of black students in certain areas also had a highly probability of closure.
