Untapped Talent and Green Economy Opportunities in the Chicago Region, a new report released by the UIC Nathalie P. Voorhees Center for Neighborhood and Community Improvement, explores the location of untapped talent groups (defined in this report as individuals who are open to work but, due to various barriers, are not employed) in relation to Green Economy jobs. It also addresses challenges between connecting untapped talent to these jobs and proposes strategies to address these challenges.
