The Urban Transportation Center released a paper on the history of Chicago’s Transit Circulation Efforts.The evolution of Chicago’s efforts to address the distribution and circulation of people in the Central Area is chronicled in a newly published paper from the Urban Transportation Center: "The History of the City of Chicago Central Area Transit Circulation Efforts." Proposals for downtown public transit and efforts in the second half of 20th Century to build the Chicago Circulator, an on-street light rail technology system, also are analyzed.
