Rachel Weber Invited To Deliver Baumer Lecture At Knowlton School Of Architecture And Planning
Urban Planning and Policy Professor Rachel Weber was invited to deliver the Baumer Lecture at the Knowlton School of Architecture and Planning at Ohio State University. The lecture, titled "Autopsy of a Boom: Explaining the Comeback of Chicago's Loop," discusses the cycles of prosperity and desolation in Chicago. Weber also spoke to the Association of American Geographers this month for her lecture titled, "Rethinking Value in Urban Redevelopment: Extraction, Anticipation, and Acceleration."
