Stacey Sutton, associate professor of Urban Planning and Policy, co-authored the research report, Chicago Community Wealth Building Ecosystem.
The report explores factors that enable community wealth building models to emerge and grow on the South and West sides of Chicago. The “report is a benchmark study of the City of Chicago’s Community Wealth Building Initiative, a community economic development strategy that invests in community control, collective ownership, and collaborative governance as steppingstones to community wealth.”
