DESCRIPTION:IRRPP?s Leading Race-Conscious School Improvement (LRCSI) Workshop is an intensive three-day workshop on race-conscious school improvement. The workshop, led by UIC EdD faculty and held in conjunction with the Center for Urban Education Leadership, will support education leadership teams interested in learning how to intentionally and systematically center racial justice in their improvement practices. The goal of the workshop is to develop participants? capacities to implement race-conscious improvement within their schools with the ultimate aim of increasing educational opportunities for students of color.
