Democracy, Civic Engagement, and Every Day Life in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

IPCE Space to Engage

February 24, 2026

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Location

CUPPAH, 6th Floor

As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly prominent in our day to day lives, questions around our relationship with this emerging technology become more crucial than ever. What are the potential opportunities and disadvantages to the use of AI in society? How will AI be used fairly in our democracy? Do the ethics of AI usage differ in different sectors, such as education, business, the arts, and politics? What regulations need to be in place to curb potential ramifications of AI in politics?
Join the Institute for Policy and Civic Engagement for our open space dialogue session Space to Engage on February 24th, in the IPCE office as we break bread over how artificial intelligence might shape the future of our everyday lives.
Come discuss with us over lunch, food will be provided!
